Bean Boots

I’ve lived in Boston for as long as I’ve lived in my hometown. I honestly never thought about staying here for 20+ years. I’m mildly shocked when I think about it, because I love traveling. I also hate winter, so it’s funny that I’ve stayed in the Northeast all this time.

So I’m a transplanted New Englander…and it’s about time that I owned some Bean boots! Yes, the quintessential boot made by L.L. Bean.

I bought the short 6″ version. I’m not sure why; I was just drawn toward the shorter version. I wanted to buy a pair in a unique color combination, but they didn’t offer that in the short version. Maybe I’ll buy a fun moccasin version at some point.

They are really comfortable! I can’t wait to wear them in bad weather. Although I can wait for bad weather…?

Birthday list status update: It’s December 1, which means I have a month left to complete my 48 items. I have four left!! With two in the hopper, that leaves two mystery items to figure out. Wish me luck…
