I love flowers. In another lifetime, maybe I will be a floral designer. So when I saw an ad for a Fleurs de Villes exhibit at a local mall last month, I had to go. The company was presenting Downton Abbey characters made out of flowers! Intriguing, no?
Maybe it’s only intriguing if you like flowers AND Downton Abbey? Anyway, Allen and I attended it and had a good time fawning over the creations. Local florists created about 20 characters, which were scattered throughout the mall.
Visitors were invited to vote for their favorite, but I don’t think I could have chosen one. They were all so stunning.
I may not report on any other birthday list items this year, because ALAS I have broken my ankle for the second time in four years. I keep asking myself why, but I know there is no answer. Shit happens.
I have eight items left to complete, so I’ll have to finish them next year. Maybe I’ll be able to eke out a couple more if I’m more mobile by December 31. Here’s hoping…
