The End Is Near

It’s the beginning of August, but I am already seeing signs of summer’s farewell:

“Back to school” clothing specials

Why does the summer go by so fast? Because it is a mere three months long in New England? Uhhhhhh. I’ve only been to the beach once; I’ve only gone out for ice cream once. Well, I still have a few weeks to remedy this dire situation. Now I just need the weather to cooperate…
