My apartment has become a perfumery. I just finished my concoctions. I now have four vials of what hopefully will be nice-smelling perfume. I think they have to “sit” for a day or something. This is what I received in my kit:
Some English Rose, Tuberose Moss, Rosemary, and Pink Grapefruit oils. And unscented perfume base. I tried a few different recipes. I’ll let you know which turns out the best.
A little perfume 101: there are three notes in a fragrance blend. The top note is a light note; it is the first scent you smell, but it evaporates. The middle note is the main body of the perfume. It is often a floral scent. The base or bottom note is “rich and deep” and comes out after about 30 minutes of putting on the perfume.
Very interesting, Nance. You are always doing interesting things. I assume that this in on your list?
Yes, it is on the list. Last year I made soap, so this year I tried perfume!
