Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there. I volunteered at the MSPCA today and was heartened to see many people interested in adopting an animal on this special day. I had a “first” today: I held some six-day-old kitties for the first time. They kind of looked like little rodents. Their eyes weren’t quite open yet and their ears were teeny. And they were trying to nurse my neck. Someone had left them in front of a Petco overnight. Sigh.
I have been so negligent of the birthday list. I need to do at least three things this week. I think the three things will be: get my ear pierced in a funky spot, tour the Taza chocolate factory, and tour the Loring-Greenough House.
