Birthday in Bristol

While we’re talking about birthdays…Allen and I went to Bristol, Rhode Island, for my birthday. I wasn’t feeling very well, so we didn’t see as much of the town as we normally would. But we did visit Colt State Park…

…and Blithewold Mansion.

We also walked around the downtown area and had a few good meals. The area was quiet and quaint…and being surrounded by water was as wonderful as ever. If you live in Southern New England, Bristol makes a delightful weekend getaway.
