Newton Rambles

Allen and I went to Newton to run an errand the other day, and the weather was lovely. So we decided to visit a pond and a park while in the area. Bullough’s Pond is a small pond in a residential neighborhood. Only half of it is accessible to the public, so it’s a short jaunt along one side. But it’s a nice view and there are a number of benches.

Cold Spring Park was the place to be on a Saturday afternoon since it features large soccer fields, a tennis court, a dog park, and trails through a patch of woods. It wasn’t the most interesting patch of woods I’ve ever walked through, but it still afforded us a pleasant ramble. Newton has almost 40 green spaces, so I am working my way through the list!
