I tried black pasta from a neighborhood restaurant called the Daily Catch. The restaurant serves amazing seafood and pasta dishes, and I’ve been intrigued by the black squid ink linguine on the menu. I finally ordered some—just a side order to see if I would like it.
I tried it with the oil and garlic clam sauce because I’m not a red sauce person. It was delicious. The pasta does have a different taste to it, but I’m not sure how to describe it. It’s not a strong flavor. The linguine was thicker than usual, but I don’t know if that is a result of the squid ink or not.
I will happily order a full order of black pasta next time! Have you tried it?
