P Is for Pomodoro

Bar #4 on the alphabet list was Pomodoro, which is probably an eight-minute drive from my apartment. It’s a cozy and expensive Italian restaurant with a cute rectangular-shaped bar. The bartender handed us menus, upon which no mention of beer was found.

I cringed inside and tried to tone down the panic in my voice as I asked, “Do you serve beer?”

The bartender answered, “Yes, we have Moretti.”

And so I tried Moretti.

It reminded me of Stella or Amstel. Mary and I split some divine arancini, so I would definitely return to have dinner…if I were celebrating a special occasion and could drop $50+.

Bostonians, please start thinking of any restaurants/bars you know that start with X, Z, U…
