I’m feeling as happy as a clam at high tide. I dropped off donations at Occupy Boston last night. The vibe was cool there. They were grateful for the donations. It was all quite organized; my friend said she heard that it was more organized than Occupy Wall Street.
Today, I noted the mobs of people checking out the Boston Book Festival and felt a sense of relief mixed with euphoria. People are still buying books. People still care about books. Maybe I’m not the only one who gives the stink eye to people with e-readers on the train.
And, last but not least, tomorrow. The day I’ve been waiting for for 12 years. F’ing Wegmans. If I don’t tear up at the glorious sight, it will be a miracle.
