A Cheese-y Night

Any day that includes cheese is a happy day in my book. So I greatly enjoyed a cheese tasting event at a local cheese shop, Curds & Co. Some friends and I enjoyed its “after dark” event that took place after the shop was closed to the public.

We tried around 6 different cheeses that were paired with different wines and beer. Each cheese was also paired with an interesting condiment and cracker. I didn’t take notes on the pairings, but trust me, they were all delish.

Not only does the shop sell cheese, but it also sells an impressive array of condiments, crackers, cookies, and alcohol. The staff are knowledgeable and passionate about cheese and pairings.

Attendees were offered a 25% discount on items, so I bought some cheese, cookies, and jelly. I look forward to trying their sandwiches (grilled cheese!) and attending other events!
