I was in CVS the other day looking for a snack. And I came upon dark chocolate chickpeas. I like dark chocolate and I like chickpeas, but I would never dream of melding the two together.

I decided to try them. They’re…OK. I’m neutral. The chickpea is pretty tasteless, or maybe it’s just that the dark chocolate is the stronger flavor. I’m not sure if I would buy them again. However, they are a “good source of fiber” so maybe I will if I feel like being healthy. I might try the dark chocolate edamame first to see if I like that better. Yes, you read that correctly…
