Last Ice Cream of the Season

I eat ice cream year-round, but I believe that the experience is heightened in the summertime. Ice cream is meant to be eaten outside with the warmth of the sun on your skin; don’t your agree?

Last month, Allen and I enjoyed our last ice cream cone in the sunshine at a place I hadn’t been before: Celebrity in Watertown. (Or is it Celebrity’s?)

As the large sign outside boasts, Celebrity has 24 flavors of soft serve. I tried watermelon (and had to get sprinkles). Allen chose bubble gum. It was quite enjoyable, as Allen would say. I would have liked a little stronger flavor myself.

This place was a good find because it also offers lots of seafood dishes, pizza, pasta, and sandwiches. We’ll be back to try something else. And of course I’ll try another of the 24 flavors of ice cream.
