I kind of have to force myself to drink water. I’ve been drinking Brita filtered water for years, because I’ve long been creeped about all of the chemicals present in tap water. I’ve tried infusing water with fruit, crystals. I’ve tried maple water and collagen water…just looking for something that would become a habit.
I went down a rabbit hole recently after watching a webinar by detox expert Wendy Myers. She mentioned a brand of water called Watt-ahh and said it was super-hydrating. I don’t understand the science of it, and some people say it’s bunk. But I bought some anyway. It’s polarized water, whatever that means. It’s apparently costly to polarize water, because it’s not cheap. I do like the taste of it, but I haven’t drunk it consistently enough to know if it is really super-hydrating. Why the inconsistency? Because I keep buying other frickin’ types of water!
I started researching alkaline water, spring water, mineral water…so much water. I decided to try FIJI water after reading some positive reviews. It comes from an artesian aquifer found on the Fiji Islands? Or something romantic-sounding like that. It’s also expensive! But it’s some damn nice water.
I love the Blue Zones…so I bought the brand’s alkaline and mineral water. Shipped from Costa Rica! Also some “tasty” water. I had never thought about water having a taste before. But I’ve seen the light now. I am totally into the “soft/smooth mouthfeel” of spring/mineral/alkaline water now and there’s no turning back. Do you have a favorite type of H2O?
